The same fault here as with most videos about new tech. It presents all the pie-in-the-sky possibilities as realized technology, and says almost nothing about the obstacles in the way of making that tech happen. For example, it say it would cost half a million dollars in electricity to drill the well using this beam tech, then says a conventional well costs 30 million. But there is no mention of the fact that most of the costs of the 30 million dollar conventional well would also be carried over to the beam-drilled well, and the cost of electricity for the beam drill would be on top of those conventional costs. This is just more tech that will probably not be realized in our lifetimes, if ever.

Same thought watching. The creators need to have this child-like optimism so they can give it the effort, but that warped view shouldn't carry over to others wanting an objective view. This YouTube guy seems like like a shill to his own wishful thinking. Looking over his other videos confirms this. At least there are some debunking ones, like plastic recycling being BS.

The bald guy is GREAT at making videos about nothing. I don't think he knows anything about anything. I was expecting that he has some sort of science specialization as a reference point, but he just pumps out a lot of nice sounding bullshit.

I mean, I am really impressed that he has the subs at a level where he must be making some decent cash just reading wikipedia and putting out nonsense.
