I have dived the Great Barrier Reef. This guy was snorkeling at the surface. I hope divers who wear wetsuits are more protected. North of there, I met a guy in a local bar whose full time job was finding and killing what he called great white pointers. I went to a butterfly pavilion where the funnel web spider exhibit was empty because they couldn't pay anyone enough to go out and catch a live one. Still, I loved Australia. I would live there if immigration policies weren't so pro-rich-Chinese ($1.5 million Australian to get in). Because I love the people. Yes, more than the Americans I know. Sorry.

Interesting stuff.

I hate the sun. I get sunburned in minutes during the summer and I fucking HATE the heat. I function best in cloudy, 35F-65F, humid weather.

This is why I have never been stung by a jelly fish. The few times I've been to the beach were after taking a bath in sun screen and going only to resort beach locations that are heavily curated (meaning, waters are cleared and cleaned for the tourists).

You know that aussie imported some sort of plant to try to stop desertification

reality is that the plant dries up, transform in gigantic balls of dry flammable material and create HUGE fires

Also, they imported rabbits, and they have rabbit infested places

Also, they imported venomous frog, to take care of alligators, you guess what is happening...

Also, they imported carp (a fish) and now the river has just carps (they are predators)

I heard thay wanted to import elephants to take care of the grass..... but thay did not do it, yet....

Umm, any reason the Hospital doesn't bath her in an ice bath or ice packs for the pain/ skin irritation ??. Always seemed to help me with just blue bottle jellyfish bites .
