Dang sounds like a lot of reverse psychology, color me confused.
i mean yeah, that's kinda the whole point.
it lets them basically discredit any person or group with baseless and extremely weak accusations, while also making it harder to identify the actual glow ops (which are a lot rarer than schizos on poal think, not every single shooting or riot is muh paid crisis actors)
They always give extremely dumb reasons "why aren't they obese must be feds, they're wearing masks, mAtChInG uNiFoRms"
the worst part of bad-jacketing (or fed-jacketing) is that in the internet age you only need a very small effort to start a rumor and idiots will repeat it because it makes them feel smart.

So these patriot guys are legit? These arrests are indeed what they appear to be (I haven't looked into it much).
I'll be aware though of this sort of thing now that you bring it up, I know, sometimes people go too far.

I mean you can never be 100% about anything, but all the arguments I've seen against them have been extremely bad: they're not fat so they're not rightwingers (massive self-own), they wear masks so they're covid enjoyer (as if hiding your identity isn't a good thing as a political dissident), they wear masks so they're feds (???), the cops never release their identity's (untrue), they talk about race so they aren't conservatives they're racist demonkkkrats! (well the first half is right... the second half not so).
