I like the theory that his "wife" is actually his Mossad handler. He was a nobody, making goofy YouTube videos. Then he's pushed to the front and crammed down everyone's throats- at this time, he was still kind of funny sometimes. He was probably still having fun, it was still somewhat innocent to him. But over time, mossad makes more and more demands of him. He changes. And now we have the jew in his final form.
