That doesn't seem like it'd be enough of a pressure wave to kill all the wasps, especially ones near the opposite side of bigger nests. Could easily end up with spread out groups of very unhappy wasps, and even if you put them mostly out of commission you could still end up scattered wasp pieces that are perfectly capable of stinging anything that steps on them.
