Maybe for legitimate developmental disorders. But they don't get to blame wanting to murder infants on muh environment. It's them. They choose to support this.
I agree with you but I think that the corruption of the chemical balance in the brain introduces the foot in the door for the more direct propaganda. But yes, at a certain point it is the responsibility of the individual to make decisions and deal with the consequences. The latter not being enforced enough and softened through social programs funded by tax payers. Thus reinforcing the bad behaviours and rewarding the degenerates. Certainly a multifaceted issue.
It's not a cop-out if your opinion is that the mentally ill don't get a pass just because of their mental illness.
