The chinese tattoo removal one was good. I like to send it to people with shitty tattoos.
Perhaps if it was an infrared laser with a diffuser it would be great for searing steak after sous vide.
As someone who has an infrared CO2 laser of sufficient power output, I can say that every experiment I have done with food heating/cooking with the laser has ended badly. The energy density, even in a diffuse beam, is too high to work well with food. You may not see any burn marks or charring, but the laser energy denatures the food molecules and produces the most foul tasting burnt flavor. It seems that there is just no good way to use a laser with food and have it result in something useful and delicious. My experiments in putting Jesus on tortillas to sell to the brown people just didn't work out as I hoped.
Hey man, Jesus died so that you may have burritos
Serbs did this when America was bombing them. They set up old tanks around the microwaves and the US thought they were bombing military targets. Then they shot down a few so called "stealth" fighters with the Czech Tamara radar system and old surface to air missiles on the back of old trucks.
