He looked offended that nobody told him about the cat

Surprised it hasn't eaten that cat.

Don't just stand there. Give it something to eat.

Or at least point it in the direction to the nearest synagogue for it to find some rodents to snack on.

I think they only eat live stuff like mice etc

The cat is doing a pretty solid owl impression.

"Are you threatening me?!"

Cat: "Are you fucking kidding me?, look at the size of that thing, you want it gone YOU pat it away then". . . nope nope nope nope nope nope!

Large owls are bigger than you think. As a person well versed in great horned owl (in particular) vs cat (homeless roaming), I've seen adult cats with 9mm (think of a 9mm bullet size) nearly perfectly round deep punctures in their head from owl attacks. I assume the owl grabs the cat but is unable to successfully carry it off. Additionally, owls that attack kittens like to tear their chest open and eat them alive. Nothing like fnding a kitten torn open on your driveway or deck.

That is not a good sign.

The cat can't make heads or tails of it, but does know that it wants no part of that thing standing in the window.
