The medical industry has always put themselves above us commoners. Like educators medical "professionals" give their opinions usually prefaced by a "I'm a doctor...I'm a nurse....I'm a teacher" authority statements to snap people in line. So no...they don't think it's "best". Just forcing their will on someone gets their rocks off.
