Easter is a racial memory of the age long ago when giant bunnies roamed the earth, crushing and killing anything in their path. They fed on man flesh and pooped out perfectly spherically balls of shit as large as beach balls, which the surviving peasant farmers used to fertilize their fields. The only way to avoid getting eaten was to worship these ravening bunnies by setting up bunny idols made of wickerwork and surrounding them with offerings of ripe cheese. The bunnies would come in the night, eat the cheese, and leave the farm unmolested. Hence our present custom of hiding candy eggs that look like cheese, and worshiping hollow chocolate bunnies. The more you know about the past, the more fascinating the present becomes.
