It really makes me wonder. How does someone wake up one day and decide to shoot up a subway? What is it that tipped him over the edge? He doesn't seem too unhinged in his youtube videos, although he rambles and repeats himself. At any rate, I don't see any red flags. What did he think he was going to accomplish? And if things don't make sense, was it even him who did it? He is, after all, still only a person of interest and not a suspect according to the police.
Only thing i can think of is it was a way to get more people to see his message. If thats the case. It worked. We would have never known who he was and what he stood for. From what i can tell, some of his messages are the same from the some of the blacks i can actually stand. He hardly refuses to use the word nigga or nigger. He sees his people in trouble and wants to get his message out.
