Putting themselves in crappy situations with angry drunks is the job.
A couple thoughts to further clarify my position.
We don’t need to the police to solve stupid problems. They have a role and a purpose, that role and purpose is getting morphed into babysitter for incompetent adults to the detriment of society. There are plenty of men in the wedding that should have handled the situation. She should have pleaded with them and gotten them to take care of it, not bring in babysitters.
Once the cop showed up, they were idiots. They escalated that situation far too quickly, and pulled their guns way too quickly. It’s the same situation I deal with with my kids… You can’t force rational behavior from an irrational person, that’s exactly what they attempted to do and drew firearms when they were unsuccessful.
Agreed. The guy was reacting defensively against the cop's aggression. Anyone with a brain would have de-escalated while more police are called. They could then use spray and beanbags to force compliance. The guy was 6'3" and 260lbs. Only an idiot believes this isn't going to escalate when you're much smaller.
The primary reason that guy is dead is because the cops wanted to murder someone that day.
Sadly, cops are taught via Israeli standard to escalate at every turn and to murder whenever possible. They followed their jewish training.
A 6'3" 240lb violent felon who just knocked out your partner, walked through your taser and proceeded to pound you in the head. If you lose consciousness you and your partner are dead. Any reasonable person would justifiable shoot. The sister is most responsible for his death by interfering. He picked a fistfight with 2 armed men and got shot. Play stupid games and win stupid prizes.
