So you are completely under the impression that you can't live life without government to control you. Got it.
"I need the gubbamint to suvirve!!!"
i was referring to the term "authority" used in the video. having a court system seems to be useful especially if you're an underdog in society aka going against the mob. having laws seems to be useful. a nation of laws makes sense to me.
i guess i'm just not seeing how the argument against authority applies to real life. i have authority in my household. in my business. etc. idk, seems a bit oversimplified.
The video is about government authority and the belief that you need it. Or that a small group of people have the right (rights you and i don't have?) to take money from us and tell us how to live our lives. Statism.
having a court system
does not require government
i have authority in my household. in my business
your house, your business Don't need a government for that either
Here's another one for you https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ngpsJKQR_ZE
probably too oversimplified for someone like you though...
so is the alternative to hierarchy self governance? isnt that what our founding fathers institutionalized? isnt that what the constitution is?
every organization and civilization in history has some set of rules and rule enforcement. my point is that the word authority is too simple. the government is corrupt. if they played by the same set of rules, would we all be complaining? probably not. since at least it would be considered "fair"
i'm not against authority, leadership, and hierarchy. i'm against cheating. the government is irrelevant since there is always some form of hierarchy in society
