I say that bc i remember the picture of a complete newly finished Chinese apartment block laying intact on its side. The foundations poking out the bottom were only a few feet long into boggy unstable ground.

I remember that too. Tubular footing actually broke off so they looked short. Actually would have been fine except they dug a hole beside the building then piled dirt on the other side, pushing the soil horizontally beneath the building. That or some illegal aliens sabotaged it. I have trouble remembering stuff....
