Wings go flap flap flap
I saw a flight of ducks do a group water landing that would make any Navy pilot swoon. Circled in toward the water, leveled off perfect for about 10 yards, flared and touched down like a dream. All at the same time. Between flare and sitting in the water was like 2 - 3 seconds. Barely a splash.
Feathered a bit early
I didn't see it flare any. Is that normal for swans?
Definitely touched down with too much speed.
