Ever measurable metric shows the boomers to be the worst in every regard: Teen pregnancy, divorce, drug use, debt, etc etc. Maybe it was the lead in the gasoline? Sure the zoomers and the millennials have some faggots, but the fact of the matter is the most degenerate generation has been the boomers. The only real change is that there are more faggots in the zoomers, but that's probably due to the single mothers and trying to milk a system that favors diversity over merit.
We had to shut the economy down, because of a fucking cold that just happened to be a little deadly to old people. The only reason why the lockdown had the momentum and support it had, was that those old people are a hugely active voting base.

The generation that recognized the evils of the american war machine had decades to take the bull by the horns but instead encouraged apathy because they couldn't get instantaneous results.
