I’m a little late to the comments, but I simply couldn’t imagine trying to stay insured while employing a bunch of Auts. Their lack of emotional control and hair-trigger outbursts are similar to those of downies. I’ve spent significant time around special needs children and teens. This doesn’t seem possible to maintain without disaster. You see on the news the local grocery store or deli who hire the melon head who everyone loves and it’s so great and why aren’t more places hiring the mentally and emotionally challenged. It’s because you can’t. You have to watch them all the time. An outburst is only a moment away. An outburst at home is inconvenient. An outburst on the clock is a liability. And that’s just the emotional part of it. Retard strength is also a thing. They can be dangerous (more so talking about the downies and not the rain men and women). Plus the cognitive function isn’t all there. You have to keep an eye on them. The moment you turn your back they’re setting the bathroom on fire or jerking off in the lobby.
