I assumed you were clutching at straws to explain the existence of dinosaurs. Christian don't like dinosaurs.
How do you explain why they were so big compared to modern reptiles and birds? If modern reptiles are indeterminate growers then they would get that big if only they lived long enough.
I don't see any scientific reason why animals can't live indefinitely. They just don't and we don't understand why. And I am not speaking from ignorance. When you look at the theories of aging they don't paint a full picture.
Isn't gigantism a rare disorder? I don't imagine it would be a common feature - relatively speaking - across an entire species.

Telomeres
The mice they use to test new drugs on have artificially extended telomeres. This allows them to tolerate drugs much better than natural mice and gives better test results for the pharma companies. These genetically modified mice don't live forever. They all die of cancer. As far as I know they don't even have significantly longer lives.
