Actually all feelings are valid, but feelings are only a signal that something is out of balance within you. Assignment of meaning/cause to feelings is where you can be correct or incorrect.

This is a good take but I wouldn't necessarily say out of balance. They're more like a sign that pops up that points toward survival. That mechanism can be hacked ie you can feel something based on deception or a mistake, but at their core it's just biology pushing you towards or away things that do you good or harm. Our higher intellect is basically an override switch that lets us ignore them as needed and figure out when they might do us a disservice.

This helps explain why people who are highly cerebral sometimes have problems in life, and especially their social lives. When you can easily put feelings at a low volume it's easy to discount their importance and ignore them as uncomfortable quirks of being human, rather than important signs that are extremely useful for navigating all kinds of relationships and life in general.

Midwits who are intelligent enough to control their impulses, but not so brainy that they are still forced to experience them loud and clear don't have this problem. But I think anyone can still pay close attention and get the same benefits once you understand this is how it's supposed to work. Just takes a perspective shift.

Do you intentionally put sand in your vagene to better grasp the trials of life?

Fuck their feelings.

Feelings don't force you to be a pain in the ass to others.

Feelings don't force you to do anything so long as you're not a stupid bitch, ghey af, a nigger, or a spoiled child.

Feelings are just heuristics. They can be useful or they can be detrimental. You were given a mind that can reason to discern between the two.
