LOL I’ve seen this. It’s exactly what I thought of when I watched this the first time.

When you are coming to the store, grab the nearest abandoned cart to where you park and use it to shop. When done, put it in the corral near your car. Now you've both put away a cart left out, and haven't caused a net move of carts away from the stacks of carts at the front of the store.

I roughly do this... Especially at the airport, you get a quarter too.

I usually return the cart because it feels good. At times I don't see a cart stall so hitch the cart on a curb to prevent rolling or run it back to the store to help out the assigned cart jockey.it just makes me feel good. Leaving the cart in a random spot makes me feel like a jerk. Thinking a cart I used might roll off and ding some nice car gives me a bad feeling.

And what's the deal with that one wonky wheel?

It is a simple issue of convenience. Let the store hire a teenager to collect carts. Convenience has even gotten to the place where people pay other people to do their shopping and deliver the groceries to their home. Where I shop they have 2 downs syndrome adults who patrol the parking lot collecting carts. They even help load groceries. The cart narc idiot is going to get himself killed. Notice how it is white people in a white suburb. Lets see him do this at a walmart in a black neighborhood.
