Private companies can insist on appropriate attire and they, not you, get to define what is and isn't appropriate. If they had obligations to "muh free speech", you would get to decide what's appropriate and they couldn't say shit.

Maybe I'm an idealist, but it's hard to believe that a company that relies on good customer service for repeat business, wouldn't stay in a politically neutral lane. Where do you draw the line when it comes to controlling a customers wardrobe. I know we live in clown world now, but every step back we allow them to push us, will only encourage them to push more and harder. Something written on a face mask should not be grounds to kick a paying customer off a plane.
