The scale of this protest is unlike any other protest we've had in Canada, and the blatant lying of state media is more exposed here than ever before. All eyes are on Canada, essentially. Everyone on the streets is hyper aware of this visibility and are purposely holding composure to show the world they are not the irate ones. The state media is desperately trying to find anything they can to smear the protesters, because everything they can find is being used by politicians to frame this as an insurrection, in order to justify their call for escalated force from police services at every level. Underneath this protest there is a huge "information war" where each side is trying to discredit the other, and the longer this drags on the harder it has become for the elite to control. They want so desperately to end this display so that individuals will go home and then they can do damage control. The longer this goes on with the peaceful nature it has followed, the more tyrannical these politicians look.
