Like drinking a coke and being left with an empty can. That’s where we are heading in a few decades useless farmland. Unless they figure something out like how to fix it. It’s takes about 300 years for the top soil to be replaced

Nope. Soil lacks nutrients. Taking food from land via consumables will of course lower nutrients. A shitskin eating berries and shitting in a new location has the same effect as a combine harvester.

Wind and rain will always erode soil. It's a natural process.
Plants slow this down.
Removing plants speeds it up.
