I should have expressed that differently. He could be made to be less of a net negative on society. Just by not being in the street, those kids that asked him for drugs probably wouldn't have found him and gotten those drugs. And with some sort of lazy bum job like taxi driving a few days out of the month, he could afford a place to live that's one or two steps above being homeless.

Nowhere at any point in time have people been able to survive off of working a few days per month unless they have a passive income, the cost of subsistance will naturally raise to whatever can be made from a full time job.
It depends on what level of comfort they want. If they want to live under a bridge, smoke crack, and eat rats, I'd imagine they probably wouldn't need to work much. If a non-crack head goes to a third world country and does web design over the internet for 1st world clients, they could probably get by working for a few hours per month and live like a king.
I know a guy that only works a few months out of the year, but he knows what he's doing, so he makes around 100k/year.

That's funny. I also smell 👃. I'm not going to bother expressing myself differently more than once. I'm pretty sure the 👃 thing to do would be to not solve the homeless problem and to maximize their damage to society rather than minimize or eliminate it. Why do you think the ZOG steals tiny homes that are given to homeless people?
I used to work with the homeless directly. A small fraction takes the help and gets off the streets, like 1% For the Majority it is a LIFE STYTLE CHOICE. Then maybe 25% just broken mentally people who should be in a care hospital.
