You have to lift it before you press the button, as he demonstrates at the end.
I did this to my wife a long time ago. She couldn't lift it. She knew she had to do so. The driver position provides mechanical advantage. Plus males have more upper body strength.
Afterward, one time I watched my wife get into my car, wrestle with the brake release for several minutes, turn off the vehicle, and then get into her own vehicle. She couldn't pull it up to press the button.
yeah ive had a couple of cars that they dont think that far ahead and if you ripped it up hard enough it wouldnt go any further up to disengage again.
So how did you get it down?
pulling and pressing real hard. I've had this problem, too.
I fucking hate electronic parking brakes btw. In my current vehicle, it doesn't always engage for some reason, so if you're not super careful to feel for the engagement and make sure the light comes on, you get out and it starts to roll. I've entered a moving vehicle for that reason. Oh and the reason this happens is as long as you're sitting in it it apparently engages a hill holder. When it detects you've gotten out it lets off. Or something like that. I dunno it doesn't roll until you get out.
No shit?
She didn't grasp that. She seemed to be pressing the button before lifting.
I never knew you had to lift it before you press the button honestly. I just muscle fuck both with ease until i hear a click and let it down. Shits made so retards can figure it out.
