Someone once said rock n roll isn't a dude with long hair dressed in boots leather and a bullet belt. Rock n roll is a 55 year old fat dude standing in times square in boomer shorts a hawaiian shirt flipflops with black socks looking up and taking pictures.
What they were saying is the dude in leather gives a fuck what others think. That isn't rock n roll. The fat dude in flip flops and black socks doesn't give a fuck what anyone thinks. That is rock n roll.
The dude in this video is pure rock n roll. Doesn't give a fuck and built something out of off the shelf parts ANYONE could have but did not have the fucking balls to do it. Watch the sports dude in the back walk with his kid. Perfectly dressed and in shape. He spends so much time on him self he would never build anything like this because he would be worried what people think about him.
It's the little things that set us far apart.
That makes sense. I wear black socks because they don't look as dirty as white socks when they are old. I like to think I don't care what other people think about me but I still have to at least pretend to care.
Blaaaaaack socks,
