I’ve been taking kratom for three years after a motorcycle wreck. It messed my wrist and ankle up, And I’m a carpenter so I am very active and use both of those joints frequently obviously. Kratom has been a huge help to me. It is slightly addictive though. In the mornings, if I don’t drink it within a few hours of waking up I feel kind of off. But its in the coffee family has some serious immune boosting properties, along w the analgesic effect. It does make you feel good, but not necessarily a high. I’ve always explained it as “anti-coffee”. It’s about the same level of feeling as you would get from a cup of coffee, but more of a relaxing effect rather than simulating. In my opinion, there’s only a very minor abuse potential. If you take it a few times a day for years you’ll be slightly addicted, just as you would be coffee, but it’s not like people are going to end up in the gutter because of it like they would with a real drug.

Are used to frame houses, now I’m more in the remodeling business. I actually started my own company this year and do a lot of exterior stuff like decks and custom sheds, but also do a lot of flooring and bath remodels. Trying to keep me and my guys paid so I’m taking on all kinds of stuff. I’ve done it all at some point. I’m 32 and been doing it since I was about 16

Kratom is actually effective and reducing withdrawal symptoms and aiding addicts to ween themselves off of opiates.

Drug companies don't WANT people to be cured or not addicted. They want to be the drug dealer. "Heroin is illegal! But you can take our heroin for 20 dollars a day".

Every state and municipality that has banned kratom also has the highest profit and use ratios for methadone clinics. Look it up. Chicago, Louisiana, etc.

They are protecting their cash cow.

Weed has different benefits and properties. Kratom can prevent gastro intestinal symptoms of crohns, ulcerative colitis, ibs. It can be a stimulant, a euphoric, a sedative, an anxiolytic, a withdrawal minimizer, and a chronic pain reliever. It works on the mu receptors of the opioid system.

Cannabis works on the endocannabinoid system. It can relieve nerve pain, is an antispasmodic, can be an anxiolytic (in some people, can cause anxiety in others), can be a sleep aid or a antiemetic.

Both can have benefits, both can be abused. Don't use an antionotic if you need a muscle relaxer. Don't use a muscle relaxer if you need an antibiotic.

Take it from me. I did kratom for 2 years. It's awful. Yea it feels kinda good for the first little while but pretty soon you will be chugging huge glasses of disgusting kratom Instead of eating. Your body gets very addicted to it even tho it doesn't get you high. And unlike other drugs the withdrawal starts instantly after you stop drinking kratom. The withdrawal can be as bad as opiates in my experience.

There are a myriad of benefits to it. Just like any medicinal herb. Licorice thins the blood, reduces inflammation, aids in digestion, makes a fun candy, and can KILL you. Use it properly and it's a wonderful tool.
