While the video is from 2016 it is more relevant now than ever. Note, wired sucks chinese communist dick in the video and it isn't all roses over there. Chinese culture is a face culture and they cannot accept criticism. However, there are tremendous "hints" at strategic thought and consideration.

While you guys are posting stuff think about what we can learn about our strengths and weaknesses. Think about what strategic objects we should have, what they mean for our people and how those objectives might play out on a local and world stage.

Really enjoyed watching that. Dude with the Jew cross was someone I would like to know more about his background. Are they squeezing out the Jew businesses in the US/world or simply another form of it? Makes me put another lens on "crappy Chinese quality" to how much are they innovating by imitation and improving?

That is actually part of the missing piece that I was hinting at in the summary. The quality of everything, particularly buildings is atrocious.

It's not quite as rosy as that piece makes it out to be. However, with enough iteration quality will eventually be there.

I just watched that again, I coached Lego robotics for a couple seasons and that is the basics of what they are doing, nice to see we have some of the initiatives here at least.

Yep, and couple that with evergrand financial issues and you wonder how wonderful everything is. They have had some impressive space forays, due in large part to stolen US knowledge I presume. An enigma at this point.
