Learned some Ukrainian from an older coworker. Was reading a lot on their history at the time. They're basically the cradle of civilization, before mesopotamia, and the springboard from which Aryans spread everywhere! Went to their church's flea market fundraiser party. Was fucking sweet. Free beer and food. Art, music played on giant traditional harp thing. Even though I'm part Hungarian, and they have a rocky history, felt so welcomed.
