Really interesting and makes a lot of sense. That's why they put a thermal adhesive on the nails used in pneumatic guns, to help them stay in place.

Most ancient shipwrecks are found carrying huge quantities of nails, either for trade or plunder from razed vilages. They would burn villages just to make gathering the nails easier. Iron was incredibly valuable not so long ago.
I want to get into a little basic woodworking. Need to buy a lathe. Want to start making predator calls. Keep thinking how cool it would be to call a bear or lion in with a call i made myself.
