So what do the guys do that were in combat with all the shooting going around? How did they not go mad and deaf from all the loudness?
WHAT???
Lots of tinnitus and deafness among combat vets, don't worry.
Eh that sucks. My father flew in the Air Force and he can't hear anything. Its from the engines for 20 years growling in his ears. Even with a headset it didn't help.
They do go deaf.
So all you get is Uncle Sam sticking a ribbon on your chest and then you're off to walk the world as deaf as Helen Keller?
And a lifetime VA rating, generally speaking.
