there was a big fat guy who jumped onto a bed to test it's "crush factor" and an old woman once bought the bed I fell asleep on. Also, someone came in looking for a hammer. Oh and a guy passed out while waiting for the bus just outside the window.

Yeah, it's a little weird they're so close together but it's probably zoning or price of rent. They require a large amount of footage to display all those beds, their margin is only so high so likely there is only a small zone where you can get low enough rent with high enough traffic to be profitable.
