This is the problem with "conspiracy" (theory), the term. It's lost all meaning. It not means, "bad thing that totally isn't happening." Conspiracy is no theory. It happens even in the most primitive of social systems, from local sports leagues to the stock market. The idea that we should naturally distrust theories people communicate about groups conspiring is seriously concerning. What moran really thinks people don't conspire? Just how innocent does someone's world-view need to be in order to convince themselves people don't collude in order to bring about some beneficial circumstance?
