I believe that there are no political solutions. 100% sure thing.
I hope that peaceful solutions remain. Secession sounds like an option, but this did prompt the United States to invade the united States last time someone did that. That will be a delicate operation.

So we eventually end up back here.
The solution is a good start, but also insufficient.
The federal government has to be leveraged and tricked into completely destroying itself.
Likewise for the governments of other western nations.
This is not the whole solution but it is a start.
