Maybe you're a speed-freak retard, but you went from wall o' text blabbering nonsense to making up your own words like "deepity." Also, "work your way out of this one?" What "one" would I be "working" my way "out of?" I pointed out a couple of things above: First, that Joni Mitchell is from the Silent Generation, Second that you cannot define an entire generation of Americans from a concert video because IT'S A CONCERT VIDEO, and third, that you are possibly retarded. I stand by each statement fully. Nothing there to "work my way out of." Perhaps you need to work yourself out of your idiocy by putting down the crack pipe, hitting the gym, and cracking open a few books.
"Deepity" the guy says....
I get what you are saying. Answers:
1) Etimology of deepity: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1EuhcxZs1qg
It was created by a 16 year old girl. Beautifully done too.
// EDIT: Woops, the above is the meaning of the word, here is the origin of the word: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FjsC53RGO4Q
Kind of fun.
2) You can simultaneously make contradictory claims about an individual or groups of people. "Work your way out of that one" specifically refers to your answer here.
Your entire post is a single claim at a specific level of resolution and this sort of conversation always ends up with one person insisting that that single level of resolution is the only correct way to understand an event. The other person will either be arguing at a different level of resolution or arguing multiple levels of resolution.
I simply argued all possible levels of resolution at the same time to explain that you are right, wrong and irrelevant depending on what level of resolution you apply the analysis.
3) I framed the tone of my answer as a pissing match. That's mostly because I like a good fight. But, the only reason I really answered is because you asked an important question that I wanted to answer and catalogue for later.
My answer isn't so much for you, although I hope you enjoy some of it, it's so I can come back to it later and document and re-use it.
The multiple levels of resolution is an interesting tool I have been thinking about for a bit now and your question was great and a perfect way to kinda get that down in writing.
Apologies for the personal attacks part. My answer is edited.
