The important part of my original derisive commentary on the people in the video is specifically not to give the easy way out which would be, hey man context, it's just a concert and people having fun.
It was to glibly critique an entire generation the way our decendants will critique us based on analysis that is true if we are trying to figure out why we are here. The whole, hey context man, is fine and true. For the purposes of a conversation that wants to have some past explanatory power and future predictive power, hey it's context man is a narrative tool specifically used to get out of that conversation that I'm not terribly interested in having.
That entire generation of people inherited a beautiful world and literally fucking gave it away to jews, niggers, shitskins and chinks.

What "one" would I be "working" my way "out of?" 2) You can simultaneously make contradictory claims about an individual or groups of people. "Work your way out of that one" specifically refers to your answer here.
Your entire post is a single claim at a specific level of resolution and this sort of conversation always ends up with one person insisting that that single level of resolution is the only correct way to understand an event. The other person will either be arguing at a different level of resolution or arguing multiple levels of resolution.
I simply argued all possible levels of resolution at the same time to explain that you are right, wrong and irrelevant depending on what level of resolution you apply the analysis.
3) I framed the tone of my answer as a pissing match. That's mostly because I like a good fight. But, the only reason I really answered is because you asked an important question that I wanted to answer and catalogue for later.
My answer isn't so much for you, although I hope you enjoy some of it, it's so I can come back to it later and document and re-use it.
The multiple levels of resolution is an interesting tool I have been thinking about for a bit now and your question was great and a perfect way to kinda get that down in writing.
