Belarus is run by a dictator, the other western countries sanctioned him. So he's flying in islamist and pushing them into the EU. Jews love him.

I’m not sure how much detail I can give you a quick reply, but here’s the short of it. Lukashenko is very unpopular with western leaders. He refused to go along with the Covid lockdowns, he diverted a plane to arrest a shady person that was under the protection of the west, and after the sanctions (americans cant even fly to minsk) he started to say “fuck this” and used refugees as negotiating tools.
NATO attempted to do a coup against Belarus's based nationalist president Lukashenko. When it failed they did their usual economic blockade thing.
