My wife stopped even bothering to try years ago. She just calls out, "Hey, if you want dinner, I need some "man hands" for this.", and hands the offending glassware either to me or one of my sons. "Thank you, Sweetie", kiss on the cheek, and life goes on. She sees it as just one of the many benefits of having married me, and raising strong sons in her house.
