arkansas is one of the few decent places left. beautiful place.
>beautiful place.
Pretty much, if you draw a line from Texarkana to West Memphis, and stay on the NW side of that line, you get the Boston Mts and the Ozark Plateau (and arguably the most "racist" town in America, Harrison). The southern part is mosquitoes, yellow pine, bayous extending up from Louisiana, and a high % of diversity.
And I'm never leaving.
Infact, I get to visit beautiful Harrison, Arkansas... tomorrow!
Maplewood Cemetery should be in full autumn colors right now.
I lived near there for a few years. It was other-worldly.
I had shopped in the Ark-La-Tex growing up. The first time I shopped in Walmart #2, I was shocked at how the smell was noticeably different. And the beautiful happy faces of the kids serving coffee at the McDonald's was a welcome relief from the dismal service I had gotten used to.
yeah, i noticed that the further south you go, the more diverse. pine bluff is a peach of a town /s
You know, Harrison has been known historically as a "sundown town".
I've been trying to think of a similar term for places like Pine Bluff.
My family hails from Berryville, AK. Three of them were in the Confederate Army.
AR. AK is Alaska.
Berryville is beautiful. That whole area is nice.
Eureka Springs has gotten faggy though.
