Too bad they didn't make all those windmills out of wood. Then at least they could have burned them for heat when they stopped working. And they always stop working. Usually right about the time that the taxpayer provided subsidies dry up.

Hey, I know! Lets build acres of solar panels in a country where it rains all the time! (We'll just be sure to make them out of wood. Not gonna make that mistake again.)

They could burn jews instead, plenty of those around in Germany.

Toxic fumes. Germany has some pretty strict environmental laws. And it would take more energy to burn them then they would produce. Net minus. But most of all, think of the smell.

Fumes from burning plastics tend to be toxic and therefore non-habit forming from a home heating aspect. Still, I am kind'a looking forward to harvesting all that scrap aluminum with a pickup and a quickie-saw.
