I think of that Solzhenitsyn passage quite a bit actually. The thing is…taking the head off the snake is the only way to do it. The corrupt rulers like to make everyone think they are untouchable when really the fear and intimidation is practically the only thing keeping them safe. Yes they have security and technology and power. But look at JFK. Look at the Saddam Hussein and Mormor Qaddafi. Look at the crowds in Australia pushing through police lines to get where they want to go. If the masses are organized and focused on the head and do not get distracted by the threats of the coiled body…it’s only a matter of time before the head is reached. You gave analogies of rats. Imagine it’s not one rat attacking fingers. Imagine it’s 1,000,000 rats attacking. 1,000,000 rats focused on one objective. Again, I do not condone violence and that is not what I’m suggesting. We’re just talking here.
