This guy is reading from a script, too afraid to think for himself, or even to take responsibility for his actions, his kind of mind sees his job as just a set of tasks for himself to do, his brain is turned off because he feels safe. He will absolutely lose his shit once he realizes he is an enemy soldier in a war, and that people who he previously felt comfortable with pushing around start going for his throat rather than being mostly compliant and occasionally a bothersome nuisance, once we are a threat, his sanity will start to shift from the pressure. Also, in an urban environment you have options, attacking from multiple angles, surprise attacks, traps, a good bull rushing, etc. And that's assuming all the bobbies are on the same team, which they bloody well won't be once the fur start to fly, when the fight comes, a lot of em will defect or turn tail. The police are weak willed spineless cowards, any gun is good enough to take a life with if you use it right, the thing that really matters is the man behind it, no amount of technological superiority will matter if the guy holding it is unfit to fight.
