Super annoying

At first I thought it might have been some kind of trick used to bypass algorithms, in case it was posted to YouTube or something- I'm sure Kimmel's show is heavily protected and they'll strike channels or have videos taken down if they use their footage.

But then, the video went on, and it seems to be some silly stylistic choice by the editor. "We're down here in the underground, maaaan! Our equipment barely even works, we're so badass and underground, maaan!" That kind of angle might be what they were going for, like they do in those Anonymous videos.

In my experience in the medical field, you take your lunch break if/when you can. Perhaps there was a slow point in which vent people were stable and the ER patients were being addressed by other staff?

He claims there was not enough room to do his choreographed dance moves, so he went straight to "the discusion".

Ventilators work automatically. Seriously tho, you make time, obviously. To eat and take a shit and make a phone call or whatever. If we're not his boss, it's not really on us to say what he should and should not have time for.

Of all these guys that do basically the same schtick (late night), Kimmel has always been the least funny and most mean spirited one. I kind of think TV ratings are made up, and no one likes this guy, but maybe that's wishful thinking.

Ventilators are designed for critical emergency use only, when a patients body have ceased to function by itself.

Nobody whos body is responsive and basically functioning should be intubated and hooked up to a ventilator, as the risk of infection of the airways is substancial.

It's funny how people have to paid to say the thing that was the elephant in the room during the early part of the pandemic.

Why would it be?

Maybe because teachers across America have no idea how to teach kids about proper communication with one's doctors.

Why? Because Johnny's aunt so and so had to be put out to pasture, because no one could figure out how to do the next ten years of her budget. So, it's a sensitive point for the family.

The BBC's Torchwood "Miracle Day" television series posits what might happen to all of us, if families couldn't do this. Dark thought, isn't it?

Yes, ventilators kill people. But doctors (except in rare cases) do use them, because they are scared that the patient is going to die tout de suite.

Sometimes public policy makers in a place called New York City can arrange bounties for every coronavirus patient which is treated with all the trimmings.

Then, we have a lot of people dying unnecessarily. That's called "corruption."
