It is never too late for science to help inform policy. Even if people are literally slitting each other's throats on Capitol Hill, it is still not too late to use science to help inform policy.
If people say the vaccines cause neurological disorders, that needs to be proven with science. If people say it is not causing neurological disorders, that also needs to be proven with science (this second piece has already been done but not to a top-level of confidence).
