I would imagine his views are traditional church views, which have come under fire from liberals both inside and outside the priesthood. There are actually Catholic priests today who don't believe in God. It goes without saying that they are in favor of homosexuality and homo priests. Gibson is against all that. They believe in god. Just not that the god of the Bible is the supreme being, but Lucifer as the designer of the universe. They also believe that men can become their own gods.
