man called 911 to report he was injured, after being struck by a Tesla. The man, identified as 47-year-old, Arthur Bates Jr., told officers the Tesla backed into him, causing him to fall to the pavement, and that the driver then fled the scene. Bates was complaining of back, leg and neck injuries, resulting in an ambulance and fire truck to be dispatched to the location.

Tesla has front and rear cameras always recording, and two cameras for the side view as well. IIRC theres probably 1-2 more cameras too but I don't own a Tesla.

You can set sentry mode to record while parked too, but when the cars on its a multi-camera driver recorder.

And no, not many other cars do this at all.

I'm pretty sure they do store some video footage for spying on you. Why wouldnt' they? They all have a hard drive and cameras. It's only a software setting. I'm not certain of that, however. But you can look up how cars spy on you.
