But I’ll tell you one of the best benefits is in the winter having my garage door closed and the car heating up all toasty ready for work. The other thing is no fumes in the garage while packing up to go and my kids breathing that shit.
The other thing that’s awesome is never having to go to a gas station. Just leave the house and it’s always charged.
Now I’m not against gas cars. They have their practicality. Looking to replace our gas car with a new ford raptor.

If you don’t own a dash cam you should buy one. It’ll Get you peace of mind. I bought one. Got in accident a few months later. Guy didn’t try to lie and blame it on me but if he had I can only imagine the hell that would have been. Plus all the other shit you catch on camera. Iv seen like 3 road rage incidents. I saw a train almost hit another train sparks flying like rain. I saw a power line arc of electricity. I drive in 100 mph winds. I couldn’t even see the road. I ran over a baby possum. ACCIDENTLY. I was driving I saw something in the road, it was night. I thought it was a cup or something. Then I got about 5 feet from it. I saw it’s little baby possum eyes lookin at me. Bump. I wish I had one when I saw the green asteroid. Cause that was weird. Yes a green asteroid. A slow moving green asteroid.

Yeah, I got one years ago for the protection, but kept it for all the great clips of bad drivers etc. I've amassed ~1500 clips since then. I feel naked the rare time I don't have one or it's not working. It's the first line of defense against liars if you get in a wreck.

Tesla has front and rear cameras always recording, and two cameras for the side view as well. IIRC theres probably 1-2 more cameras too but I don't own a Tesla.
You can set sentry mode to record while parked too, but when the cars on its a multi-camera driver recorder.

I'm pretty sure they do store some video footage for spying on you. Why wouldnt' they? They all have a hard drive and cameras. It's only a software setting. I'm not certain of that, however. But you can look up how cars spy on you.

If you don’t own a dash cam it’s one of the most worthwhile investments you can make. I know tesla has them built in. Idk why every car doesn’t have them built it. Back up cameras already exist so what’s the excuse. Mine got costed 80 bucks but you can’t put a price on knowing you’ll never get fucked in a traffic accident
