While the video maker is absolutely correct that distilled water is the purest water a finicky human being can consume, they appear to be ignorant of the fact that water, especially after being exposed to calcium, is a corrosive and that their tap water has moved through miles of cement, ceramic, plastic, and metal plumbing before it found itself in his test glass. The bottled water on the market is usually advertised as having minerals and vitamins added for the health nuts, so the argument that it's contaminated is already dumb. The tap is going to be murky because it has sediments like calcium in it from the plumbing and water infrastructure it passed through. However, the guy has definitely made a solid case for people to consider owning a water distiller. Ideally, an electric one that allows you to manually adjust the temperature settings so you can distill other liquids, not just water.
