Truckers will blame the gov't. Gov't will blame the truckers. People will make up their own minds. Grocery chains will go out of business.
People will listen to TV Man who will make up their minds for them.
Grocery businesses will change names.....FTFY
Worse people will go hungry and that will just make shit worse, because desperation brings out the worst in people, this is a bad play.
Kinda makes things ungovernable.

When there's marauding bands of desperate armed men killing people to take their supplies... then that is really bad.
It's not that far from here to there.
Inevitably, when governments fail the militias take over. Whoever can muster enough force to hold a region then gets to make the rules. It always comes down to infantry. The really dangerous part is the unstable time between the fall of the old order and the rise of the new.
That's why we used to always have local militias. We are probably going to have to bring that back.
