I've found that if you look closely enough, most life is amazing.
Fucking plants man. Did you know that if a plant is being eaten by a caterpillar, the plant can send out scent based signals that parasitic wasps respond to, and the wasps then attack the caterpillar. Cool enough, but what if it's aphids attacking the plant? Different scent signals attract ladybugs instead. They can call for specific reinforcements. And, sometimes other plants that aren't even being attacked pick up on those scent signals, and start producing the same signals themselves. They're calling in security before there's even a threat!
When people say plants can communicate, they're not just new-age nutcases. Well, they probably are because they think the plants are sentient, but they're not wrong about the communication part.
Life is amazing.
Plants are a life force so is the planet. Put to plants in separate sound proof rooms same condition one room rock and roll other stringed instruments especially fiddles and one plant will die quickly other will grow away from the lights to the music and grow faster and produce upto 20% more fruit. That's not true. Plants don't respond to music differently. At best, you might be able to vibrate the plants enough to thicken stems and slow vertical growth, but there would be no effect on the fruits, and the other plant won't die because it heard rock and roll. This IS new-age nonsense. Talking sweetly to them does nothing, except provide minimally higher levels of CO2, which is useless if you aren't also increasing transpiration, light level, and nutrient levels in addition to the increased CO2.
Plants don't have auditory sensors, or a brain. All they have are cells with different levels of turgidity, and changes in turgidity and intra-cellular pressure are what determine plant response.
When I'm able to sit down tonight I'll dig through my pc and try find all my old photos and links to music articles study papers and such. Even the Mythbusters did a show on it and saw results proving that new age science. Don't have to be a Libbey cunt to appreciate science and all the wonders we can learn. What major test have you done to prove plants are lifeless? If your a botanist please by all means show me your study would love to read it. I was once like you until I did for myself and enjoyed all the results I found even unlocked myself and discovered a ton about myself
I had no idea. That is amazing.
I stopped eating most starchy vegetables for a variety of reasons, but one of them was when I learned about anti nutrients. Plants, being living organisms fighting for survival, aren't nutritious for us. They are JUST nutritious enough. While we can absorb a bunch of nutrients from them, most people don't realize that most plants contain ALL KINDS of chemicals and compounds designed to make it difficult for animals to predate on them.
For example, I learned that about 5 raw red kidney beans can kill and adult.

Ahh, yeah, exactly. Plants can't move around so they develop all sorts of diabolical ways to ward off predators.
I like the theory around Cannabis, shrooms, and other hallucinogens. Lol, the animal eats some, gets high, wanders off, falls asleep, and forgets where they found that crazy plant.
I so often laugh when people talk about the dangers of synthetic chemicals, blah blah blah. Nature is a million times more devious and deadly. Arsenic in apple seeds. Poisonous beans, potatoes, fruits, nuts.
